Bad Moms: Movie Review

By: Matt Suzara

Amy (Mila Kunis) is doing her best to be the perfect mother to his two kids. She had a great job and seemingly a happy married life. However, all things start to fall apart when she caught her husband cheating, and as she gets exhausted, she starts to break down with all the things juggling around her. Ready to explode, Amy finds herself in the company of another two stressful moms Kiki and Carla (Kristen Bell and Kathryn Hahn), who share the same sentiments like her. Soon, they join forces, to stop their daily routines and reinvent their lifestyles.

Bad Moms is a raunchy enjoyable R-comedy flick that will definitely entertain you right from the very beginning. Boosted with talented female stars, the film knows how to deliver the comedy gift wrapped to surprise everyone in the audience last night in its advance screening. The fun never stops as the jokes are just way funnier than I expected, and I find myself entertained for 100 minutes. The brilliant minds behind the phenomenal "The Hangover" Jon Lucas and Scott Moore definitely know how to play their cards right and successfully hit the right notes to deliver a decent R-comedy movie.

Mila Kunis is the perfect fit to play Amy. She just simply anchored the central character and injected a lot of life in it, filled with charm and a solid blend of humor. Kristen Bell and Christina Applegate had their moments to shine in issuing their comedy skills. But if there is one person you can easily single out to take home a lot of credit; the spotlight belongs to Kathryn Hahn. She is just magnificent in each scene and managed to bring a lot of laughter throughout.

Overall, Bad Moms runs off as an easy candidate for the best comedy film this year. It's been a while since I laugh that hard as I enjoyed every single moment of the film. It is highly recommended especially to those who want to have to take a break from a hectic work schedule and enjoy a stress reliever film.
