The Peanuts Movie: Movie Review

By: Lakwatsera Lovers

Charlie Brown still can't catch a break, even he tries his very best. In the meantime, his good pal Snoopy creates a novel of his own about saving the love of his life Fifi against the nasty Red Baron. Soon, a new red-haired girl moves into their neighborhood and Charlie Brown instantly fall for her. Thinking that he is a failure and nothing compared to her, Charlie Brown attempts to take a shot in redeeming himself and impressing the little red-haired girl without making a fool of himself.

Injecting life to a classic Charles Schulz's comic strip isn't easy to do. It is hard to justify and produce a whole animated picture without losing the sensibility and touch of the Charles Schulz material. And with the help of Blue Sky and 20th Century Fox, the silver screen debut of Peanuts the Movie was a success. They achieved their goal  in honoring Sir Charles' legacy by resurrecting the comic strip and bringing it on the big screen.

They lay out a simple story for everyone to appreciate. Even the kids in this generation can easily get hooked in and introduces to the characters we've loved. Snoopy and the whole gang didn't disappoint us in giving us quality entertainment throughout the entire film. All of them were presented nicely and was given ecstatic voice talents to back them up.

Overall, The Peanuts Movie brings out the kid in you. It is an entertaining animated movie and a great film to start this year. The Charlie Brown and Snoopy connection is the perfect flick for the whole family to enjoy this weekend.
