Hotel Transylvania 2: Movie Review

By: Lakwatsera Lovers

Johnny and Mavis (Andy Samberg and Selena Gomez) are married and have a cute little kid named Dennis. He looks more like a human and Dracula (Adam Sandler) is insisting that his grandchild is a monster and a "late fanger" like him. He plans a simple getaway trip to California  for Johnny and Mavis so he can trigger the monster side out of the kid. Soon, while Dennis parents are on vacation "The Drac Pack" makes a move and have a little adventure of their own.

Hotel Transylvania 2 turned out to be a fun sequel. It is more wittier and funnier than the first one, thanks to its newest character Dennis, who mostly brings the good laughs. It still had those charming and enjoyable moments like what they have on the first film. The film actually excelled in different aspects, especially on the animation department. The monsters are colorfully brought back into life once again but this time to make the kids happy.

Animated films might be the solution for Adam Sandler to win his fans back and start over. He simply enjoys voicing Dracula as if he is just mimicking an eleven-year-old. His whole crew is livelier too with Kevin James, Steve Buscemi, Selena Gomez and Andy Samberg providing quality voice performance to make the entire film monsterrific.

Overall Hotel Transylvania 2 is an engrossing film for all ages as it easily catches the hearts of its audience. It is a better sequel, a colorful animation and a wacky fang-tastic way to bring these monsters back on the big screen.
