The Wedding Ringer: Movie Review

By: Lakwatsera Lovers

First, we would like to thank Columbia Pictures for inviting us last night to the special screening of The Wedding Ringer. We are excited to see this film because we love to see Kevin Hart and Josh Gad do some comedic stuff, and we were quite surprised as we didn't expect that the film would be that funny.

Doug (Josh Gad) is finally getting married to the girl of her dreams (Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting). Their wedding is in two weeks, but he has a big problem: he still doesn't have a best man. Doug is referred to Jimmy Callahan (Kevin Hart) who owns a company that provides best man services. However, there are more problems to be resolve as Doug also badly needs seven groomsmen to pull a major connection between him and a bunch of strangers before his wedding day.

The film is very funny and entertaining from start to finish. We became an instant fan of Kevin Hart after watching some of his stand-up comedy clips on youtube. We even liked him more after we saw his past films like (Ride Along and Think Like a Man Too.) He excelled more and improved his comedy style getting sharper, especially when he is delivering his comedy lines. Josh Gad, on the other hand, creates an appealing team-up chemistry with Kevin Hart as the two effortlessly manages to spark up the humor throughout. They are also surrounded by an incredibly charming supporting cast that made the film livelier and enjoyable.

Overall, The Wedding Ringer is a surprising comedy film that will make you laugh out loud. Kevin Hart and Josh Gad are the real deal. This flick is highly recommended if you just simply want to laugh and watch a stress reliever film with your family or friends.
