"Katniel" once again proves why they are one of the elite love teams in this generation with the success of their newest film "Can't Help Falling in Love." This is already their eight film, and the magic, and their chemistry are still getting better than ever. Daniel Padilla shows his versatility and reveals that he has grown up as an actor. He is fun to watch and still can't stop the girls from liking him so much. Kathryn Bernardo, on the other hand, keeps doing in what she does best and compliments her partner in their scenes. The supporting cast capitalizes on the alluring lead stars and made the most out of their roles.
The film has a ridiculous premise and its quite hard to take the entire thing seriously but somehow the film didn't falter. It has enough fire power to push on the gas pedal and make the entire thing entertaining at all cost. The lead stars carried the momentum throughout and doesn't back down from the bumps that hit the film along the way. It also didn't run out cheesy moments to make the audience and loyal fans a reason to get giggly on their seats.
Overall, Can't Help Falling in Love easily became one of our favorite "Katniel" films. It will not let you walk out the cinema disappointed but will definitely leave a smile on your faces. Kudos to Director Mae Cruz-Alviar as once again she did a remarkable job in getting the best out of Kathryn and Daniel.
