xXx: Return of Xander Cage: Movie Review

By: Matt Suzara

Another global catastrophe is about to happen and for that Xander Cage (Vin Diesel) is pulled out of retirement. He must assemble his own crew and find a destructive weapon called as the Pandora's Box taken by a dangerous group led by Xiang (Donnie Yen). Can his newly successfully built crew come up with a plan and reclaim the stolen weapon before its too late?

Everything is possible in the third installment of Vin Diesel's xXx: The Return of Xander Cage. If you love to watch action films well, this is the movie you shouldn't want to miss on the big screen. Xander Cage is that kind of movie that is completely insane from start to finish. The stunts are much cooler than we expected and watching it on IMAX last night was surely an eye-popping visual treat. There are simply a lot of crazy ideas that are delivered on to a silver platter that is way over the top of your wildest imagination.

The plot is ludicrous in all means but who needs a decent story line when the film's main objective is to entertain its audience. Vin Diesel shows once again why he still one of the most charismatic stars in Hollywood. He can make everything work because he knows how to have some fun. His supporting cast also helped him to reinforce the film with Donnie Yen once again proving that he still got the force in him. You also got two hottie kick-ass ladies in Ruby Rose Skotchdopole and Deepika Padukone plus a stunning Nina Dobrev to complete the gorgeous sweethearts.

Overall, xXx:The Return of Xander Cage is ridiculously dumb but entertaining as hell of a kind of an action flick. I know its a little absurd giving this film a perfect rating but can you blame me if I really got pumped up all throughout the duration of the film? Spent a little more and watch the film in IMAX, and we assure you'll enjoy that much as we did.

Lakwatsera Lovers rates it 10 out of 10 stars
