Prom (2011) Review

Prom
by: Kristina Marie Indangan

I totally envy this film because at my high school days we did not have a Prom night because my school is big and has a lot of students that don't have budgets for these kind of once in a lifetime events. I think that if you watch this movie you can relate and reminisce your high school days.

It can all start with one night, it revolves in the life of students getting ready from Prom night. Revelations from secret crushes, guys with no guts to say what he really feels for a girl, romantic relationships, and a lot of proposals of guys asking their girls to Prom. The movie was cute specially with girls like me who love to witness giddy moments from some of the lead characters. Although most of the scenes are predictable it still gave the audiences some sweet scenes mostly from Nova (Aimee Teegarden) who is hopefully wanting to attend the Prom with his childhood friend Brandon (Jonathan Keltz) but when the decorations of their ball was destroyed she was stuck to a cute bad boy Jesse (Thomas McDonnell) to reconstruct her dream night.
